About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of prior forklift operating experience.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and on weekends.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature variations, around machinery and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PCA-certified forklift license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials orderly.
• Document materials unloaded from and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and handle inbound forms, inventory tags, and counts for materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workloads, organize warehouses, and perform general cleaning.
• Follow safe and efficient forklift operating procedures.
• Report missing, broken, bent, or worn forklift parts to a supervisor and/or maintenance.
• Watch for obvious defects in incoming materials.
• Follow safety and work rules, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties and activities as assigned.
