Ply Up Operator (2nd Shift) - Ridgeway
About The Position
Isola is hiring a Ply Up Operator at its Ridgeway, South Carolina facility. The operator runs a semi-automated machine to prepare pre-preg sheets for the build-up process. The assigned schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with extended shifts and weekend overtime required. Compensation is $19.75 per hour, including a $1.25 shift differential. The role involves verifying work orders and tooling programs, inspecting materials for quality problems, recording material transactions in SAP, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining material usage and product traceability records. Other duties may be assigned. The company describes the ideal candidate as efficient, able to manage multiple priorities, collaborative in a fast-paced environment, and skilled at identifying root causes and resolving problems. Previous machine operating experience and experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP are preferred. Internal applicants must complete a 90-day probationary period, have no active disciplinary notices, and have no more than three attendance points.

Responsibilities
- Verify work orders and tooling programs used to operate machines.
- Inspect and identify materials with quality problems, including debris or signs of damage or breakage, and remove affected material.
- Enter all material transactions into the SAP inventory tracking system and report identified material discrepancies.
- Maintain records for material usage and product traceability within SAP.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
