About The Position

The Machining Set-up Operator works onsite in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and reports to the Production Supervisor. The role involves safely operating a variety of similar machines, adapting to changes in machines, teams, products, priorities, and production volume, and meeting established operating standards. The position works 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to individuals, groups, or clients through reports or correspondence.
• Must have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States; sponsorship is not offered.
