About The Position
The Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG) is seeking a full-time TRAX Operator to provide transportation services to individuals, including persons with disabilities, in a safe and timely manner. This role involves operating and maintaining TRAX vehicles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Knowledge of vehicle operations.
- Must pass a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved drug test and criminal records check.
- Demonstrated proficiency in vehicle operation.
- Verbal and people skills.
- Ability to think through situations and deal with problems constructively.
- Ability to deal with stress.
- Self-motivated with a clean driving record.
- Ability to see, hear, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- CDL preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing transportation services to individuals, including persons with disabilities, in a safe and timely manner.
- Operating and maintaining the TRAX vehicles.
