Production Heavy Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
ITU AbsorbTech is hiring a Production Technician Heavy Operator to work at its production facility in Neenah, Wisconsin. The facility processes industrial laundry, including floor mats, shop towels, uniforms, and Sorbits® absorbent products, which arrive directly from customers for cleaning and preparation. The role involves handling incoming items and operating industrial laundry equipment. It is physically demanding, requiring repetitive pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as standing and walking during an eight-hour shift. The second-shift schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Pay is $19.17 per hour, plus a $0.50 second-shift differential. ITU AbsorbTech was founded in 1908 and is a family-owned industrial laundry company based in New Berlin, Wisconsin. It operates 15 facilities across the eastern United States and provides reusable uniforms, mops, towels, and mats to manufacturers. The company also offers launderable absorbents as an alternative to disposable products and reports recovering more than 200,000 gallons of oil and solvents annually from customers' used products.
Requirements
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for an eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities
- Load and unload box trucks.
- Sort, fold, separate, and count received items.
- Load, unload, and operate industrial-sized washers and dryers.
