About The Position

As a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team in its Purina Animal Nutrition business, the Production Operator performs front-line production processes that add value and quality to inputs and produce final products. The role involves turning raw materials into finished products, operating machinery and equipment, and packaging products for customers. The position is scheduled for 2nd shift, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed. Pay is $24.25 per hour, with a listed shift differential of $0.00 per hour.

Purina Animal Nutrition serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States with nutritional products and practices intended to support healthier, more productive animals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and respectful conduct.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
