About The Position

The Production Operator works in a fast-paced facility manufacturing industrial coatings. The role operates paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment, handles raw materials and finished goods, monitors product quality, and maintains production and inventory records. Operators also perform routine manufacturing tasks, minor equipment troubleshooting, and support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives. Safety, attendance, reliability, and teamwork are critical to success. The stated second-shift hours are 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Interviews will be conducted in person.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

One year or more of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or distribution experience.
Experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment.
Experience monitoring gauges, machinery, and production processes.
Forklift and material handling equipment experience.
Experience working with raw materials, blending, mixing, or batch manufacturing processes.
Experience monitoring product quality and maintaining production documentation.

Responsibilities

Operate paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment, including pumps, valves, filling machines, case packers, labelers, robotics, and forklifts.
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
Monitor raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain production records, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
Perform routine manufacturing tasks and minor equipment troubleshooting.
Support production schedules and collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
