About The Position

As a Production Operator, you will ensure assigned machines and equipment produce product at or above department standards. You will produce, assemble, inspect, and pack parts according to the work instructions for each assigned task or machine, while maintaining required paperwork and documentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO 13485:2016 standards. The Elkhorn site focuses on medical device assembly and packaging, delivering high-quality, scalable production solutions in a regulated environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with fellow team members.
Attention to detail and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate machines while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
Perform visual inspections and testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
Collect and report data, and coordinate with mold technicians or maintenance when machine errors occur.
Separate parts from runners by visually examining them for flow lines, long gates, shorts, splaying, flash, and other defects.
Trim and clip excess plastic from parts as needed.
Use visual inspection and automated equipment to check conformance to customer requirements.
Maintain the continuous flow of product from injection molding machines to other work areas.
Document hourly and daily production numbers for the supervisor using good documentation practices.
Package parts in bags, totes, or boxes as applicable.
Provide breaks as required by the lead or supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
