About The Position

Merchology seeks a seasonal Embroidery Machine Operator for its Pennsylvania Operations team at the production facility in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role helps ensure high-quality product customization through precision and attention to detail. The seasonal opportunity runs from October through January. The position is onsite and works the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills to read and print work orders as needed.
• Knowledge of English sufficient to understand safety and training requirements, review and process work orders, and understand and respond to safety instructions, emergency directions, work instructions, and supervisor communications to perform the role safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a multi-head Wilcom embroidery machine and other production machines.
• Work at a standing workstation equipped with ergonomic floor mats.
• Learn to hoop and prepare soft goods for embroidery.
• Use hand-eye coordination to thread the machine and change needles.
• Read and correctly carry out production work orders and instructions.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Monitor the proper functioning of the assigned embroidery machine.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Complete additional projects or duties as assigned.
