About The Position

Merchology seeks a seasonal Embroidery Machine Operator for its operations team at the production facility in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role helps ensure high-quality product customization through precision and attention to detail. The seasonal opportunity runs from October through January and is onsite on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The listed pay is $17–$19 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills to read and print work orders as needed.
• English-language proficiency sufficient to understand safety and training requirements, review and process work orders, and understand and respond to safety instructions, emergency directions, work instructions, and supervisor communications.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a multi-head Wilcom embroidery machine and other production machines.
• Work at a standing workstation equipped with ergonomic floor mats.
• Learn to hoop and prepare soft goods for embroidery.
• Use hand-eye coordination to thread machines and change needles.
• Read and correctly follow production work orders and instructions.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Monitor the proper functioning of the assigned embroidery machine.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Complete additional projects or duties as assigned.
