About The Position

John F. Martin & Sons, LLC is hiring a Machine Operator for its Stevens, Pennsylvania location. The role supports production schedules and goals in a fast-paced environment, with particular attention to safely and efficiently cooking and drying products for slicing and packing. The operator uses the correct smokehouse programs, times, and procedures; monitors oven cook cycles; documents processes; and moves product safely into and out of smokehouses while maintaining quality and safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Operators must be comfortable working in warm and cold environments and able to push and pull cages weighing up to 1,300 pounds. Weekend availability and frequent overtime when required are expected. The starting pay is $21.00 per hour. John F. Requirements
