About The Position

Greenscapes Home & Garden Products, a Hanes/Leggett & Platt company, is seeking Machine Operators for the 2nd shift. Operators run motorized equipment used to load and unload industrial fabrics, complete inventory and production paperwork accurately, and maintain or exceed inventory output. The 2nd shift runs from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The position involves performing routine machine operations, including loading, setup, and doffing, and making adjustments to meet quality standards. Employees are expected to follow converting-order instructions, comply with quality, safety, and environmental procedures, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain a clean and orderly workplace. Overtime and Saturday work may be required when necessary. The role requires lifting 75–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate motorized equipment to load and unload industrial fabrics.
Complete inventory sheets legibly and maintain or exceed inventory output.
Bring forward suggestions and participate in the continuous improvement process; verify implementation of solutions.
Conform to quality, safety, and environmental requirements and procedures.
Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
Perform routine machine operations, including loading, setup, and doffing, and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
Complete neat and accurate production reports.
Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor.
