About The Position

Requirements

• Valid state CNA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong communication skills, including listening and speaking kindly.
• Ability to lift, support, and help others safely; training is provided.
• Background must align with state and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Complete 12 hours of annual in-service training to maintain certification.
• Keep CPR certification up to date if certified.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification; the employer can help obtain it.
• Experience in a long-term care or post-acute setting.
• Positive attitude and sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, mobility, and other daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate resident needs and changes to the team and leadership.
• Keep residents’ living spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
• Contribute to an environment that respects residents’ dignity and choice and provides good customer service.
• Attend in-services and education programs.
• Complete Relias trainings on time.
• Complete 12 hours of annual in-service training to keep certification current.
• Keep CPR certification up to date.
