About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide home infusion therapy and skilled nursing visits throughout North Houston, The Woodlands, Spring, and surrounding communities. The nurse delivers individualized care based on physician orders and each patient's healthcare needs, helping patients safely receive advanced treatments at home and supporting improved outcomes, independence, and quality of life. The role involves independent practice in a home care environment and collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure treatments are delivered safely and effectively. The position offers day, evening, and weekend opportunities, with assignments that may support schedule flexibility, supplemental visits, or expanded infusion nursing experience. Requirements

  • Active Texas RN license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong peripheral IV skills.
  • Experience providing infusion therapy.
  • Dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PICC lines, ports, midlines, peripheral IVs, and other vascular access devices is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home infusion therapy and skilled nursing visits.
  • Deliver individualized patient care based on physician orders and patient healthcare needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
  • Administer infusion therapy.
  • Manage vascular access.
  • Monitor patient progress.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and ongoing care needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver treatments safely and effectively.
  • Maintain strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
