About The Position

VIVA Talent Solutions is an internal PRN program connecting caring nurses with opportunities to support residents and nursing teams across its communities. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides compassionate, person-centered care within their scope of practice and each resident’s care plan. The role supports resident safety, comfort, dignity, privacy, preferences, and independence, and collaborates with the broader care team. Coverage may span assigned communities, including travel or floating as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
• A current LPN license valid in the state where care will be provided.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and any additional certifications required for the position.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• A dependable, professional approach and a commitment to person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care within the LPN’s scope of practice and each resident’s care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policies.
• Monitor residents, recognize changes in condition, and promptly report concerns to the appropriate nurse or provider.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, medications, treatments, and resident responses.
• Collaborate with RNs, nursing assistants, providers, and other care team members.
• Support residents and families through clear communication and education appropriate to the role.
• Follow infection prevention practices and promote a safe, comfortable environment.
• Respect residents’ rights, privacy, preferences, and independence.
• Support coverage across assigned communities, including travel or floating as needed.
• Follow professional standards, applicable regulations, and company policies.
