About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The RN evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment, revises care plans based on changes in patient condition, and provides clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.

• Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
• Revise care plans based on changes in patient condition.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
