About The Position

A pediatrician-owned home health start-up in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced, career-minded Registered Nurse to help lead the clinical and operational development of a growing pediatric and adult Private Duty Nursing program. This hands-on leadership role combines clinical and operational responsibilities and offers the opportunity to build a clinical team and help shape the program from the ground up, with potential to grow into a long-term leadership role. The program serves people with medically complex or chronic conditions and those aging in place. The organization emphasizes experienced, quality home healthcare, trusted support for families and caregivers, and collaboration to provide care at home and in the community. The franchise is independently owned and operated; the franchisee will receive applications and make hiring decisions.

Requirements

Current California RN license.
Home health Private Duty Nursing or continuous skilled nursing experience.
Experience with medically complex pediatric and/or adult patients.
Clinical leadership, supervisory, and operational experience.
Knowledge of care planning, documentation, compliance, staffing, and clinical oversight.
Experience recruiting, training, and supporting RNs and LVNs.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with high-acuity patients requiring tracheostomy, ventilator, enteral feeding, respiratory, neurological, or other complex care.

Responsibilities

Help lead clinical and operational development of the pediatric and adult Private Duty Nursing program.
