About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care in an outpatient dialysis setting for patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role involves managing treatment plans, monitoring patients and responding to changes in their health, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a clinical team that includes Patient Care Technicians. Nurses may float to nearby clinics, and the schedule is flexible, with shifts that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training may take place at a clinic other than the nurse’s home location. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, with opportunities to build long-term patient relationships and apply a broad range of nursing skills to medically complex patients.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
