The Registered Nurse provides individualized, high-quality patient care under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Tertiary Team Leader. The nurse practices within the Lahey Clinic Professional Practice Model, the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards and ethics, and Lahey Clinic’s core values. The nurse-patient-family relationship, continuity of care, and accountability are central to the role. The nurse coordinates care across the continuum, provides direct patient care with other healthcare team members, maintains specialty-related technical skills, and complies with regulatory and accrediting standards. The nurse also delegates and supervises care in accordance with Massachusetts regulations and ANA delegation principles, including making appropriate assignments, teaching and directing delegates, and being accountable for delegation outcomes. The position requires current Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. The listed pay range is $37.00–$95.37 per hour. Beth Israel Lahey Health requires staff to be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
