About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of nursing care. The professional nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for appropriately delegating patient care to other members of the health care team. This is a part-time, on-site position at Lourdes Health System, 1600 Haddon Ave. The schedule is a 12-hour night shift totaling 24 hours per week.

Requirements

NJ RN License.
Associate’s degree required.
0–1 years of experience required.
Refer to the Educational/Regulatory Requirement (Department Specific) policy in the Nursing Administrative Manual.

Nice To Haves

2–4 years of experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimens.
Participate in clinical decision-making.
Educate patients and their families or responsible parties about disease processes, individual care needs, wellness, and safety issues.
Delegate and monitor care provided by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team.
Participate in orientation, education, and development of the healthcare team.
Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
Maintain professional and departmental competencies.
