About The Position
The Registered Nurse on the 3 West Medical Surgical Telemetry unit is accountable for providing direct, comprehensive nursing care from patient admission through discharge. The nurse reviews and documents care provided, care outcomes, and evaluations, and follows professional standards of care. The role applies evidence, professional standards, and best practices to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. The nurse prioritizes care according to changing patient assessments and needs. This is a part-time position with a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedule and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
