About The Position

Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant-Certified credential from Washington State Department of Health
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
• Working knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization practices.
• Must have excellent attendance! Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial.
• Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

• Dermatology experience, preferred.
• Two years of experience in an outpatient surgery center, Mohs dermatology practice, or office-based surgery department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized, and available as needed.
• Provide hands-on assisting with Mohs procedures and wound closures/repairs.
• Assist with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens.
• Assist the dermatology providers in day-to-day dermatology patient flow.
