About The Position

The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of effective quality care to patients, leading and supporting team members in daily operations and upholding the vision and mission of the Practice. The ideal Office Manager candidate is positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and can multi-task. This position serves as the primary point of contact for concerns related to the day-to-day operations of the practice, working collaboratively with leadership, providers, and staff.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead a team in a dermatology office effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work well independently while knowing when to seek help
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and interact telephonically and electronically
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and build inspiring working relationships
  • Ability to use applicable EMR technology and Microsoft Office
  • High School Degree or equivalent (required)
  • 2-5 years of management/supervisory experience in a medical office

Nice To Haves

  • Dermatology experience is preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Adhering to company Statement, Credo and Service Goals and Values while always providing exceptional customer service
  • Partnering with leadership, providers, and staff to manage operations of assigned practice location(s) including patient care and retention, personnel management, and workflow
  • Monitoring and maintaining performance practice standards; ensuring defined target standards for patient appointments, staffing productivity, and patient experience are met
  • Implementing policies and procedures that ensure efficient operations supporting both administrative and clinical functions
  • Identifying and applying cost saving and revenue enhancing opportunities
  • Managing inventory of necessary supplies, equipment, technology, and other resources necessary for high quality patient care
  • Evaluating performance of all office team members, effectively communicating, giving timely feedback and empowering team members
  • Assisting in the onboarding process by training and evaluating new team members
  • Assuming responsibility for patient flow processes and strategizing to improve efficiency and eliminate barriers that impact patient care
  • Providing coverage for Front Desk Specialist and/or Medical Assistant as needed
  • Cultivating a culture of compliance that adheres to local, state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Supervising administrative practice team members, Clinical Supervisor, and Front Desk Supervisor (if assigned)
  • Overseeing two of our Cape Coral offices
