About The Position

Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic Terrace, BC | Full-Time, Permanent $50.00–$60.00/hour + Industry-Leading Bonus Program (based on experience) Build Momentum with Velocity At Velocity, we're driven by people, performance, and progress. As a Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic, you'll provide on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services that keep our customers operating safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic, Truck & Transport Technician Certification, or equivalent
  • Experience servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and technology
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service

Nice To Haves

  • Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Certification
  • Previous dealership or fleet maintenance experience

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers at customer locations
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
  • Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, brake, and hydraulic systems
  • Complete accurate digital work orders and service records
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations professionally with customers and internal teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked mobile service vehicle
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
