About The Position
The Technical Material Handler works under the general supervision of the Configuration Supervisor or Lead Technician to efficiently and accurately locate inbound products coming through the Configuration lab. The role moves products within the lab, transfers and audits stock, and assists Technicians with setting up or tearing down workbenches. The position communicates with Inventory Control to resolve inventory issues and, where applicable, ensures departmental processes comply with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls. This is a first-shift position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three months of on-the-job training to learn the role.
- Computer knowledge and ability to operate a keyboard for data entry.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications.
- Attention to detail when processing, keying, and handling inbound products.
- Basic math aptitude.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Effective communication with coworkers.
- Initiative and self-motivation to take on additional tasks.
- Good safety performance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with radio frequency and scanning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Locate inbound products coming through the Configuration lab accurately and efficiently.
- Move products within the Configuration lab.
- Transfer stock.
- Audit stock.
- Assist Technicians with setting up or tearing down workbenches.
- Communicate with Inventory Control to resolve inventory issues.
