About The Position

The Wilmington Group is seeking a full-time Plant Laborer for its Haw River, North Carolina plant. The role supports plant operations safely and effectively while maintaining the production floor. The hourly rate is based on experience. The shift is Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 9 PM, with extended hours as needed.

The position involves manually separating materials for processing, removing non-compliant materials during sorting, handling and storing incoming materials in designated plant areas, performing general housekeeping inside and outside the building, and reporting equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance staff. Other duties may be assigned.

The employee works in a plant environment and may encounter hot or cold conditions. Outdoor maintenance may involve exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain. Noise levels are usually moderate to loud. Physical demands include frequent exertion of up to 50 pounds of force, frequent sitting and verbal communication, constant close vision and attention to detail, and occasional standing and walking.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain high awareness of safety at all times.
• Handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate equipment properly and safely.
• Strict adherence to OSHA and company policies.

Responsibilities
