About The Position

Crescent GE Material Handlers are responsible for performing their assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner, focusing on the proper handling of materials in the receiving, packing, picking, and shipping processes. Requirements

High school diploma, G.E.D or equivalent
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to work well with others
Possess basic math skills

Adherence to SQF and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for an extended period of time
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to do repetitive motions including typing for several hours
Walk on concrete floors for extended periods while in the facility
Ability to work and operate in a non-climate-controlled environment

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of prior material handling and/or warehousing experience
Previous experience in operating a forklift and/or possess a current forklift license

Ensure all bins and work areas/stations are maintained in an orderly, organized, and trash-free manner.
Maintain inventory accuracy.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Responsible for production accuracy and for providing feedback to management regarding errors.
