About The Position

Crescent GE Material Handlers are responsible for performing their assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner, focusing on the proper handling of materials in the receiving, packing, picking, and shipping processes. The business operates based on the Crescent Way- 3 P’s: Purpose, Process, and People, while building on a culture of Doing it Right, Doing it Safe, and Doing it Well.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D or equivalent
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for an extended period of time
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to do repetitive motions including typing for several hours
  • Walk on concrete floors for extended periods while in the facility

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of prior material handling and/or warehousing experience
  • Previous experience in operating a forklift and/or possess a current forklift license

  • Ensure all bins and work areas/stations are maintained in an orderly, organized, and trash-free manner.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for production accuracy and for providing feedback to management regarding errors.
