About The Position

Join our Mobile Crisis Response team!!! We have immediate openings in Richmond County and surrounding areas. YOU MUST BE LICENSED IN MENTAL HEALTH IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA TO BE CONSIDERED. Please make sure to submit a current resume, cover letter (optional) and three (3) professional references, which is required. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required. Please note we are a paperless environment/workplace.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Mental Health in the State of Georgia
  • Master’s degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW).
  • Valid CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience.
  • Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills and familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required.
  • Valid driver’s license, & reliable transportation
  • This is a 100% mobile response position that requires a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • First responders must be able to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift, if necessary.
  • First responders must be able to drive at any time of day or night, and do so safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive.
  • At times, driving in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis.
