Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
About The Position
Join a remote behavioral health practice providing counseling services to adults across Mississippi. The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, and major life changes. The position centers on direct client work, including scheduled sessions, evaluation of clinical concerns, case documentation, and determining when additional services may be appropriate. The role is remote and conducted through telehealth. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The stated salary is $115,000–$120,000 per year, with full benefits.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor license in Mississippi.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience providing therapy or counseling services.
- Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling through secure telehealth sessions.
- Complete intake interviews and gather relevant clinical information.
- Evaluate presenting concerns and determine the direction of therapy.
- Provide ongoing psychotherapy within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and client records.
- Identify changes that may require further evaluation or additional support.
- Coordinate referrals when another provider or service is appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Follow Mississippi LPC licensing and ethical requirements.
