About The Position

Blackbird Health is hiring an Associate / Provisionally Licensed Therapist to provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers. The role includes full clinical supervision and administrative support, with supervision hours toward independent licensure. Therapists work onsite alongside an interdisciplinary team and focus on helping patients and families through a whole-child approach that considers the interaction of the brain, body, and behavior. The position is offered as either a full-time or part-time W2 role. Full-time therapists have 36 hours of scheduled clinical availability supporting 28 completed direct-care hours per week, with four-day schedule options and at least 20 weekly core hours during peak evening and/or weekend periods. Part-time therapists work 20 contracted hours per week, supporting 17 completed direct-care hours, all within peak core windows. Blackbird provides supervision and administrative support, including credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR support, and offers a guaranteed caseload.

Requirements

Hold an active provisionally licensed or associate credential in Virginia, such as SiSW or LPC-R, and be working toward independent licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
Have at least 1 year of experience providing care to children, adolescents, or young adult patients.
Commit to 100% onsite attendance for clinical supervision, team collaboration, and core clinic presence.
Be available after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or on weekends.
