About The Position
Join Child Development Schools as a Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher and be part of a dynamic movement shaping the future of early childhood education. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Bachelor's Degree in another field with an Associate's Degree in ECE, a Technical College Diploma or Certificate in ECE, a Montessori Teaching Diploma accredited by MACTE, or a valid Preschool CDA credential.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
Responsibilities
- Oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by GA Dept of Early Care and Learning and aligning with the objectives of the current GA Pre-K Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and positive environment for children and their families, fostering strong bonds and supporting their comprehensive development.
- Design and execute learning experiences encompassing physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and tailor the curriculum to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities.
- Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision.
