About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers. The role promotes preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and ensures knowledge of and adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The position requires meeting state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements, and engaging in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Must have MD 90 Hours.

Responsibilities

Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
Mentor fellow teachers.
Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children's achievement and support center success.

Benefits

Hourly pay of $19.09–$19.84, paid bi-weekly, with Daily Pay options; compensation is based on position, education, and experience.
