About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is a third-generation developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Its communities provide long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. The Medication Aide works at SHC of Bluffton in Okatie, South Carolina, and provides direct resident care as assigned while following established performance standards and nursing service policies and procedures. Requirements
- Must be a nursing assistant in accordance with state regulations.
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a Certified Medication Aide who has successfully completed a state-approved training program and any required examination.
- Must provide documentation of certification and proof of state certification upon application.
Responsibilities
- Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
- Provide direct resident care as assigned.
- Complete tub baths, showers, or bed baths.
- Take residents to the dining room and assist with feeding as assigned.
- Provide personal care to all assigned residents.
