Daycare Lead Toddler Teacher - Childtime, Perris Blvd
About The Position
The Lead Toddler Teacher provides daily care and early education for children in a classroom at Childtime. The role follows licensing guidelines and company standards, observes and assesses children, plans for their learning and development, and communicates with families. The teacher completes training in child care, preschool, and child development, and implements the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The position involves engaging in physical activity with children and working indoors or outdoors. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
- At least 12 Early Childhood Education units.
- Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in the classroom.
- Observe and assess children and plan for their development and learning.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training covering child care, preschool, and development topics.
- Implement the proprietary curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences.
- Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
