About The Position
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Lead Cook to join our school food service program. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with day-shift hours, no weekends or holidays, and summers off. The employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages all qualified applicants to apply.
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience is required.
- Cash register experience is required.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- K-12 school food service experience is preferred.
- ServSafe® Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals.
- Follow established recipes and food preparation guidelines.
- Operate a cash register.
- Assist with food ordering and inventory.
- Stock supplies and maintain inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen.
- Perform other food service duties as needed.
