About The Position
DirectHire NOW HIRING: FIRE SPRINKLER DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER 30 – 48/HR (Based on Experience, NICET, RME-G) Central Texas | Full-Time | Direct Hire We are actively seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to join a growing and reputable team in Central Texas. Requirements
- Experience in fire sprinkler design and/or project management
- Proficiency with design software (AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or similar)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Nice To Haves
- NICET Certification (preferred – higher pay for higher levels)
- RME-G License (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems (commercial & multifamily projects)
- Manage projects from pre-construction through completion
- Interpret blueprints, specs, and hydraulic calculations
- Coordinate with GCs, engineers, and field teams
- Oversee timelines, materials, and project execution
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations
