About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented second-year law student to join our team as a Summer 2026 Law Clerk, supporting our agricultural Labor & Employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with attorneys on a wide range of employment-related matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a second-year (2L) student at an accredited law school
- Strong academic performance and excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
- Must be able to work on-site (this is not a remote position)
- Availability to work during regular business hours
- Copy of transcript (unofficial or official)
Nice To Haves
- Prior coursework or demonstrated interest in labor and employment law
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on labor and employment law issues
- Assist in the preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Review and summarize case law, statutes, and administrative regulations
- Support attorneys in case preparation, including organizing case files and exhibits
- Attend client meetings, depositions, and hearings when appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal team
