About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging instructors to lead our Coding and Drama After School Program for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching foundational coding concepts and drama skills in a fun and interactive environment. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching or working with children in grades K-5.
  • Knowledge of basic coding principles.
  • Experience or strong interest in drama and performing arts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience teaching after-school programs.
  • Formal training in computer science or theater arts.
  • Experience with curriculum development.

Responsibilities

  • Teach coding concepts to K-5th grade students.
  • Lead drama activities and exercises for K-5th grade students.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
  • Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
