About The Position

Colibri Group is seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors for its Superior School of Real Estate brand. Instructors teach in-person and online pre-licensing, continuing education, and post-licensing courses using provided course content and materials. They lead lessons, give real-world examples, answer questions, engage students, and help students meet course objectives.

This is an employee position with an estimated commitment of up to 29 hours per week. Classes may be scheduled in the mornings, evenings, and weekends, with class length determined by the required course hours. Instructors are paid an hourly rate based on the number of hours in each class. Instruction is delivered in an onsite classroom and via Zoom.

Requirements

• Have 3–5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney.
• Hold an active North Carolina real estate salesperson or broker license.
• Have state approval to teach pre-licensing, continuing education, and post-licensing courses.
• Be flexible to teach weekend and evening classes.
• Have a computer with an HD camera and microphone.
• Have quiet, dedicated office space with a strong internet connection.
• Be able to instruct in an onsite classroom and via Zoom.

Nice To Haves

• DREI certification.
• Previous instruction and/or training experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct assigned courses according to the course plan.
• Actively engage with students in the classroom and online.
• Use webinar and livestreaming technology to support online instruction.
• Recommend strategies for success and assist students in meeting course objectives.
• Participate in faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings.
