Part Time Real Estate Instructor - Superior
About The Position
Colibri Group is seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors for its Superior School of Real Estate brand. Instructors teach pre-licensing, continuing education, and post-licensing courses in person and online, using provided course content and materials. They help students understand the material through insightful lessons, real-world examples, and responses to student questions. This is a part-time employee position with an estimated commitment of up to 29 hours per week. Classes may be scheduled in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends, with class length based on the required instructional hours. Pay is hourly and based on the number of hours in each class. The role requires the ability to teach both in an onsite classroom and via Zoom.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney.
- An active North Carolina real estate salesperson or broker license.
- State approval to teach pre-licensing, continuing education, and post-licensing courses.
- Flexibility to teach weekend and evening classes.
- A computer with an HD camera and microphone.
- Quiet, dedicated office space with a strong internet connection.
- Ability to teach in an onsite classroom and via Zoom.
Nice To Haves
- DREI certification.
- Previous instruction and/or training experience.
Responsibilities
- Instruct assigned courses according to the course plan.
- Actively engage with students in the classroom and online.
- Use webinar and livestreaming technology to support online instruction.
- Recommend strategies for success and help students meet course objectives.
- Participate in faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings.
