About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Comfort working in both administrative and clinical support roles.
• Willingness to learn new skills, including IV starts when appropriate.
• Dependability, flexibility, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Radiology background and/or previous experience with MRI, CT, or other imaging modalities strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare, patient care, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts during operating hours, including Saturdays as needed, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional experience from check-in through check-out.
• Register patients and verify insurance and demographic information.
• Schedule appointments, answer incoming calls, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate patient and financial records.
• Educate patients about imaging services and encourage patient feedback.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
• Assist imaging technologists with preparing patients for MRI, CT, and other imaging procedures.
• Help position patients and support their comfort and exam preparation under the direction of the technologist.
• Follow established patient safety and imaging department protocols.
• Perform IV starts as needed, with training available for qualified candidates.
• Prepare, clean, and restock imaging rooms and clinical supplies.
• Assist with patient documentation and daily clinical workflows.
• Support technologists across multiple imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
