Requirements
- Paramedic - High school diploma/GED and a graduate of an accredited paramedic program is required
- LPN – High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited LPN program is required.
- 2nd Year Rad Tech – High school diploma or GED is required
- Prior experience as a paramedic or LPN is required
- Recent experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation is required.
- EMT Certification required or LPN License or 2nd year Rad Tech
- BLS certified.
Responsibilities
- Managing patient flow
- Conducting patient screening
- Assisting patients during procedures
- Maintaining supplies
- Supporting technologists as needed
- Remote cardiac monitoring for patients undergoing MRI when they are off nursing units
