About The Position
Electronic Imaging Assistants perform a variety of clerical duties in support of diagnostic imaging operations. Duties focus on clerical processes and customer service and involve reception, patient transport, responding to inquiries, filing, retrieving films and records, data entry, and tasks utilizing digital and Picture and Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology. The goal is accurate and efficient utilization of electronic and manual image and data storage, reporting, and distribution methodologies. The role is with Providence Centralia Hospital, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of healthcare or radiology experience, or one year of office clerical experience, or post-secondary education.
Nice To Haves
- PACS or RIS experience.
