About The Position

Requirements

• Leadership skills and the ability to empower team members.
• Ability to produce quality work.
• Excellent communication skills for working with builders, general contractors, and project managers.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures involving ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and environmental control systems.
• Ability to follow directions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to work 6 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 50–75 lbs independently.
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces, and kneel for extended periods.
• Strong hand-eye coordination for precision work with small tools and components.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8–12-hour shifts in varying weather or non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobs, crews, and projects alongside HVAC installers and other foremen.
• Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment according to specifications and building codes.
• Identify hazards and safety problems related to HVAC installation and operations, and take corrective action.
• Make job-site decisions that protect business continuity, work progress, and job quality.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Build and maintain project schedules and meet deadlines.
• Read blueprints.
• Complete quality control sheets.
