This position is for a Local CDL Driver, with a top priority on hiring safe, dependable drivers who deliver excellent service. As a Garbage Truck Driver / CDL Route Driver, the individual will operate company vehicles on assigned local routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Requirements

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum 1 year of local route driving experience
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a garbage truck on designated residential and/or commercial routes
  • Collect solid waste, recycling, or yard waste following local regulations
  • Read and follow route sheets and dispatcher assignments
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including fluids, tires, and safety equipment
  • Maintain professional and courteous customer interactions
  • Complete other job-related duties as assigned
