About The Position
Kolb Electric, Inc. is looking for a qualified and experienced ESTIMATOR for Design Build Service Level Projects to join their dynamic team for their Northern, Virginia Servicing Location. The ideal candidate will have a background in lead electrician or field electrical work. Estimators will be able to visit residential, commercial, and property management customers requesting solution-driven contract pricing. This estimator will be able to evaluate the customer's needs, formulate the required scope of work, detail a material list, and labor hours required for any service level project. Customer communication, vendor relationships, and staff leadership are essential for this position. Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of Lead Electrician or Estimator experience.
- Electrical experience, including working with schematics.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC regulations.
- Competency in electrical duties.
- Basic code compliant wiring.
- Circuits and lighting.
- Site & LED lighting.
- Electrical Troubleshooting.
- Ability to read prints or schematics.
Nice To Haves
- Excel and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Professional license Preferred (we will assist you in acquiring).
