About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial landscape estimating
• Advanced knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation systems, and materials
• Expert-level proficiency with estimating tools, including Sage/Timberline, PlanSwift, ProCore, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Proven ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical specifications
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Construction Estimating: 5 years (Required)
• Commercial Landscaping: 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Independently perform accurate and timely take-offs using PlanSwift Takeoff software
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in interpreting complex plans and specifications
• Manage large-scale and high-value bids from inception to final submission without oversight
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, General Contractors (GCs), and Landscape Architects (LAs)
• Develop precise material lists and pricing strategies using advanced mathematical equations relevant to landscape estimating
• Complete estimate entries in Sage/Timberline confidently and without supervision
• Attend and lead pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure scope clarity and competitive pricing
• Guide operations teams throughout project lifecycles to support profitable buyouts and execution
• Lead internal presentations of estimates to Business Developers and Branch Managers
