About The Position

ECC Exteriors is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Pacific Northwest team. The role is suited to a detail-oriented construction estimating professional who can independently manage bids, analyze project requirements, and help win work in a fast-paced environment. The Estimator prepares cost estimates for large-scale exterior renovation projects and works with project managers, operations teams, leadership, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the bidding process. The work combines office-based estimating with on-site project visits and travel between job sites across Washington and Oregon. Travel throughout the Pacific Northwest is required, with occasional travel outside the region as needed.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
Ability to manage estimates independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, with occasional travel outside the region as needed.

Experience in exterior renovations, multi-family, or commercial construction.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate, comprehensive cost estimates for large-scale exterior renovation projects.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand scope, risks, and requirements.
Develop detailed takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Lead and manage the bid process from initial review through final submission.
Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and leadership to produce competitive, strategic bids.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed.
Maintain and refine estimating databases, cost history, and tools.
