About The Position
The Body Shop Estimator maintains strong relationships among the collision center, customers, and insurance partners. The role involves writing accurate estimates, preparing damage reports, keeping customers updated daily on vehicle status, maintaining current files, attending daily release meetings to provide status updates, and documenting all vehicle damage, including prior damage.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail while working under tight timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including data entry, internet use, and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to follow direction while working independently.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods in all weather conditions.
- Professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships between the collision center, customers, and insurance partners.
- Write accurate estimates and prepare damage reports.
- Update customers daily with vehicle status.
- Keep all files current.
- Attend daily release meetings and provide status updates.
- Record all damage on vehicles to ensure prior damage is documented.
