Requirements

Proven experience in restoration estimating or construction estimating.
Proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility.
Strong knowledge of large loss restoration, remodeling, and construction practices.
Experience working with insurance claims and understanding the claims process.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed estimates for large loss restoration and remodel projects using Xactimate.
Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine repair requirements.
Collaborate with insurance adjusters, project managers, and contractors to support estimate accuracy and project alignment.
Develop and present scopes of work for water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects.
Manage and negotiate estimates with insurance carriers to seek fair and complete settlements.
Monitor project budgets and update estimates as project scopes change.
Communicate with clients throughout the estimation and rebuild process.
